First the show brings on the dreaded mother, Amanda. Now they add in the fact that Mac knew where Colleen was and did not tell the Abbotts. It definitely looks like the show’s favorite teen couple is being set up for a big fall.

Mac’s mother shows up, thanks to Brittany, and Mac is worried, anxious, remembering a past that was not great. As she struggles with the issues from her past, along comes the runaway Colleen to make things even worse.

Billy has to take it personally that Mac did not tell his family about Colleen. She knew that the family was desperately searching for her, worried sick. Then to have Traci, his sister, to have to confront a teen body at the morgue thinking it could possibly be her daughter! Billy will definitely have to take that personally.

Mac thinks that she was protecting Colleen, that she was respecting her privacy. But Colleen’s runaway tantrum and Mac’s running from an abusive home are two very different things. Colleen was running because she wanted her original family reunited, Mac was running to protect her life.

This is probably only the beginning of trouble for Mac and Billy, but this could be a big one. Billy is extremely loyal to his family and watching them suffer through the time that Colleen was missing and finding out that his beloved Mac knew the whole time where she was, well he is not going to forgive that easily. And Brittany will be watching every second of it and waiting for her opportunity to capitalize. You can bet on it!
